Delete Your Account

Applies to the Craptain's Log app by Drew Blatz

You can delete your Craptain's Log account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Option 1: In the app (instant)

Open Craptain's Log and go to the Profile tab
Scroll to the Account section
Tap Delete Account and confirm

Tip: you can export all your data first (Profile → Account → Export Data) — once the account is gone, we can't recover it.

Option 2: By email

Can't access the app anymore? Email poop@craptains-log.com with the subject "Account deletion request", from the email address linked to your account (the Google or Apple email you sign in with). We verify the sender address matches the account and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your profile, email, username, and sign-in link to Google/Apple
All health logs: entries, symptoms, custom metrics, notes, sketches, streaks, recaps, and reports
Your friends list, reactions, and notification settings and push tokens
All game progress: XP, doubloons, items, quests, voyages
Your consent history
Your subscriber record at RevenueCat, our subscription processor

Comments you left on friends' entries are anonymized — the text remains but your name is removed from it. Encrypted backups age out within 30 days. Nothing is retained beyond that.

Important — subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a Craptain's Club subscription, because billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel it first: on Android under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, on iOS under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Deleting some data without closing the account

Any individual log entry can be edited or deleted in the app
You can withdraw health-tracking or friend-sharing consent in Settings at any time
